Features
- The Epson PowerLite 4200W Multimedia Projector packs a lot of advanced features backed with strong specs and cutting-edge technology into a surprisingly affordable package. Its 4500 lumens of projection power combined with its 1000:1 contrast ratio and XGA (1280 x 800) resolution means it will provide a tack-sharp, vivid image in medium to large rooms, even those with high ambient light challenges.
- But that's just the beginning. Another of the PowerLite 4200's WXGA key features is its Epson 3LCD, 3-chip technology. The projector's wide connectivity includes a microphone input, RS-232 and a USB for mouse control. An RJ-45 connector is also included for control of the projector or several of them, remotely over a network.
- The PowerLite 4200 is world-ready thanks to its auto-switching 100 - 240 V AC power supply and compatibility with NTSC, PAL and SECAM color systems. It's also compatible with PC and Mac resolution and frequency combinations so it's ideal for laptop-based business presentations. Closed captioning is on board for noisy environments or for the hearing-impaired.
- Lastly, once you've gotten used to the PowerLite 4200's advanced features you wouldn't want it to take an unannounced leave of the premises. There's a password protect function and a Kensington-style lock provision.
- Brilliant Image Quality 3LCD technology - for quality and color that's beyond amazing
- 3 chips for full-time, vibrant color
- 25% less electricity required per lumen of brightness when compared to 1-chip DLP projectors
- Over 20 years of road-tested reliability built into every projector
- Amazing Color Light Output Rich color and detail are critical for presentations - that's why it's important to understand that color light output is an essential ingredient in achieving optimum performance. The PowerLite 4100 delivers 4500 lumens of color light output and 4500 lumens of white light output for bright, vibrant colorful images
- C2Fine Technology Delivers A Higher Contrast Ratio C2Fine offers smooth, uniform images with exceptional contrast for better image quality. Based on this new phase-compensation technology, light leakage is eliminated, and, when combined with the auto iris, this technology allows for contrast ratios of up to 1000:1
- Advanced Sharpness Another feature Epson has transferred over from its industry-leading home cinema project or-advanced sharpness for video. Depending on the content, users can adjust any of the following attributes of the image: thin line enhancement, thick line enhancement, vertical line enhancement or horizontal line enhancement
- Image Quality and Detail Resolution defines the level of detail and depth you'll see in a projected image. It's measured as the number of pixels wide by the number of pixels high. The more pixels, the better the image quality. With WXGA (1280 x 800), the PowerLite 4200W offers higher quality and is ideal for widescreen (16:10) display
- Eco Features Energy-efficient 3LCD light engine
- Designed to be recycled
- Epson America, Inc. is a SmartWay Transport Partner
- Centered Lens Design The PowerLite 4200W makes installation easy to plan with lens-to-screen alignment. Installers can position the ceiling mount, screen and projector independently of one another, knowing that the center of the screen will align with the lens at the center of the projector
- Epson Lens Shift Technology In addition to added reliability and amazing color performance, Epson's industry-leading 3LCD technology enables these projectors to achieve a wide range of lens shift capabilities allowing you to install around obstacles. This lens shift technology enables an incredible range of ±60 percent on the vertical axis and ±10 percent on the horizontal axis
- Off-Axis, Flexible Installation The PowerLite 4200W also features a ±30-degree tilt operation for off-axis positioning flexibility. As a result, this projector can be used for a wide range of applications, such as projecting on angled surfaces. Epson technology keeps the projector running without compromising performance or causing overheating
- Quick Corner This innovative feature allows you to move any of the four corners of an image independently at setup, using the remote control to adjust each corner for a perfectly rectangular picture. Quick Corner also makes life easy when setting up a stacked 3D projector solution for education and entertainment. All you need to do is to project the first image and then adjust the corners of the second image to perfectly match the first one
- Keystone Correction Adjusts up to ±40 degrees vertically and ±20 degrees horizontally to easily achieve a perfect square image
- Monitor and Control Easy Management Software included - remotely access, monitor and control Epson projectors over the network; includes e-mail notifications
- Network-ready for monitor and control - RJ-45 LAN connection
- Direct power on/off - power the projector on and off with the flip of a switch
- Web-Based Remote Control This utility allows users to control one projector at a time through the LAN network. Projector control is used in the room in which the projector is located, taking the place of the remote control for some basic commands, including power on and off, volume control, source changes and more
- Long Life Electrostatic Air Filter This innovative filter was designed to protect the optical engine, lamp and electronics from small dust particles that can enter any projector. It has a recommended 3000 hour filter cleaning schedule and can capture particles as small as three microns, due in part to its pleated, expanded design. With one air intake and one exhaust path, the PowerLite 4200W offers efficient airflow systems for optimum cooling of key components and a reduction in dust-related problems
- Long Life Lamp That's Easy to Replace This high-efficiency lamp lasts up to 2000 hours in normal mode and up to 3000 hours in eco-mode. It can be replaced quickly and easily, without having to uninstall the projector from the ceiling
- DICOM Simulation Mode DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine) is a standard for handling, storing, printing and transmitting medical imaging information. The projector's DICOM Simulation Mode enables users to reproduce images with an advanced gray-scale level that simulates DICOM Part 14. This mode is ideal for viewing grayscale medical images, such as X-rays, for training and educational purposes
- Built-In Closed Captioning Accommodates those with hearing impairments
- Delivers important content when audio broadcasting is not preferred
- Test Patterns The PowerLite 4200W also features four test patterns for precise setup, including detecting distortion, checking linearity, color reproduction and bleeding, and DICOM simulation mode
- Pixel Works Video Chip 3D Y/C Separation, Noise Reduction Motion Compensated
- Interlace-Progressive Conversion: (2 - 2, 3 - 2 film detection)
